I would only scramble some up and give my dogs a small amount at one time. I've heard from others the raw can give them the runs. |

raw CAN give a Dog runny stool but so does kibble and other foods esp if they are not used to it. I feed my Dog about 3-4 eggs per week. i try to give it to her every other morning. Biotin deficiency would not be a problem unless you are feeding large quantity of EGG WHITES ONLY. Egg yolk contains a concentrated amount of biotin.
Egg is fine to give a puppy. Food intolerance/allergies usually occurs when you feed your Dog the same food everyday. Its better to add variety to your dog's food than feeding the same food day in and day out.

It is most likely that the raw eggs won't cause your pup to have a runny stool forever from the eggs. My two small (though not younger than 2 years old) dogs get raw eggs and I can't remember it ever actually causing runny stools to begin with, and my one Dog has a sensitive stomach sometimes. Of course, every Dog is different... |

this is a fun chat y'all seem like nice "normal" Dog owners... anyway when I got my little girl (min pin) 2 years ago she was around 9 weeks old and she just had her ears clipped, she was fine for a couple of days and was playful and everything then out of no where she wouldn't eat and just laid around, this really scared me and I didn't know what to do, my Aunt (dog lover) advised me to give her a little milk and a raw egg... she gobbled it down and after about 4 to 5 hours she was great!! ever since then when ever I think she is feeling under the weather I will give her a raw egg/ a little milk and a small bit of cheese, SHE LOVES IT and it always seems to make her better!! anyway I am new to this and wanted to say that it was pleasant to read something that SOMEONE wasn't going off on what someone is doing... |
