Its good. Most vets will tell you to put an egg in your dogs food once a week. |

too many egg whites can cause a biotin deficiency. dogs can benefit from raw eggs and a raw diet period, check out www.rawfed.com and fyi, most vets will not support anything raw being fed to a dog. |

In my opinion you should not start yet. Wait till your pup is six months old. You don't want it to develope and allergy because you started to young. But I'm not a vet ane that is just my opinion. Ask you vet when you go in. |

I personally feed my dogs and puppy a few eggs a week, I make them satin balls a couple of times and a dozen eggs will go in the mix to add bone to all that meat, so thats not an exact number. Ive personally have never had on know a Dog to get allerigies from raw food products from being fed at a young age, but that doesnt mean that it cant happen. |

Is your Dog eating well? IF so there is no reason to give your Dog satin balls. |

Ive heard eggs also help your dogs coat shine, which is a good indication of good health, I give my Dog scrambled eggs (instead of raw) once a week she just loves a nice warm treat in her dinner |

You know vets are people to and just like everyone else they all have their own ideas about what is good or not good for dogs. My vet says one raw egg over Emily's food once a week is good for her. She is healthy with strong teeth and a shinny coat and not over weight. So you should just play it by ear. |

This is a fda report on the nutritional contents of an egg. Corn and grains are more of a concern than an egg as far as fat content. there are good fats and bad fats. The only bad thing on eggs can be the bioten thing, but you have to really load them down. My local vet was beside herself after complementing me on my dogs health and then finding out i fed raw. |

Though its not possible to happen, it is very unlikely. It doesnt effect the dogs the same way, and think of it like this, vaccinations are given to build an immunity to something, its a small dose but usually works, the same with exposure to the raw foods, dogs A have a natural enzyme to deal with it and b, they build at resistance to it also, and so will you.
i have an something on why germaphobia is causing more people to get sick because they are not allowing immunity to be obtained. |
