Do you Agree that people should be able to breed Razors Edge dogs ? And do you think that these dogs are really off standards ? This is an opion and previous experienced based post . Im not bashing these dogs , i just think that they're not the Real American Pit Bull Terrier as most breeders classify them as .. So whats you opinion on these dogs ? |

I think the whole breed is in trouble in general, there are so many different types that is the main reason they are not AKC reg.
I think some of these dogs that are being bred for the high dollars really look bad, bow legged is not a comfortable or normal thing for a dog, ask any one that has had a eb that was.
The terms red nose and blue nose bothers me since its not a mark but rather anything that anyone could say.
I can hope one day that some one will take pride in the breed and we will see more dogs like Daddy who belongs to will smith and is Cesars main Dog when training other dogs, those are very pretty and its a shame no one has done more than have a blood line to advertise the dogs value at, crips it only takes 2 dogs to ruin the most perfect of bloodlines so, it really means nothing to me.
I do feel sorry for the 30 or so "pit" bulls, even those that are something to look at being put down every week at the shelters, in my thinking, people should clean up the rep of the breed before adding more to it.
But they are like smoking, no one cares about the aftermath as long as they can be cool now. |

Well Thats true ,But most breeders are breeding these dogs for short , musclefied looking dogs and not breeding for standards and correct structures . These RE dogs are in the same garbage Band wagon as Gottyline , York , Watchdog , Butthead,etc. Its not that im bashing the breed personally , i just think that these dogs sould not be classified as an American Pit bull Terrier as well as Am Staffordshire Terrier . Remember , The American Pit Bull Terrier should be between the weight of 30lbs to 70lbs . If its over that its not the real thing . When people breed pit bulls , they should not be breeding " Freaks " as how most breeders describe them or " Musclefied . They should refer them to American Bullies . The American Pit Bull Terrier is suppose to be lean , skinny and atheletic and not 100lbs and not be able to walk down the driveway without panting and breathing hard. |

yes i do agree with breedin of these dogs some idiots on this page do not no anything about razors edge dogs they probably never even owned one before so the are retarded for make those statements my bully dogs are just as active as any pitbull you see so that lazy stuff people mention is with any dogs that are not properly cared for and worked out they are a great example of the breed so what they are bred a differnet way but they are the best dogs ihave owned and i have owned just about every bloodline you can think of and the bully ones are the best for me real people friendly so stop hating all you are is a hater for bashin those bloodlines and all my dogs are between 55lb and 68lbs so stop talkin trash no one wants a lankie ugly dogs anymore and do some breedin research to do selective breedin you can achieve a 100lb pitbull if you think not then you should not be postin anything about these dogs or any else how do u think differnet breeds of dogs were established by selective breedin so people don't believe the stupidy of others on this page and if you are lookin to buy one do some research on the breeder make sure they can provide you with reference of people that have bought a Dog and look at their produced page to see how the dogs look be sure to pick responsible breeder meanin if the breeder is not keepin anything off the litter for his breedin program and the female is bread every heat it is not a good idea to buy dogs from those people they are just puppymills and please don't support them one of the biggest ones are wood's pitbulls in oklahoma they breed their females every heat so they can live off their dogs people like that should not be allowed to breed |

there are breed standards for every breed and when you want to go outside those standards your creating another breed.
Many of theses dogs are unsound in there structure anyone that intentionally breeds bow legged bulldogs should have to walk like that. The lines have some pretty dogs but the majority of the ones I have seen on like sites such as this are going for a look rather then a sound well balanced put together dog, thats the problem people that know dogs have with this.
The sweetest dogs I know are crippled in some way or another so that doesnt fly either.
Congrats though, this is the first time I regret giving up mod status because you have broken many rules in your post. |

I go to UKC shows a LOT lately. Which UKC has a ton of Pit Bull Terriers that show UKC, and they don't look like those DEFORMED ATROCITIES that this bloodline is creating.
There is no way you can mutilate the structure of a Dog like that and have it be healthy.
You know English Bulldogs with their BOWED LEGS are currently ranked #1 for Hip Dysplasia????
I would love to see OFA hip and elbow ratings on these dogs. Why such extreme features? Are these fighting dogs?
In my opinion, and that is all it is, there are WAY WAY too many Pit Bulls(am staffs and any other name), Labradors and Beagles being killed in shelters across the country every day. Those 3 purebred breeds make up a HUGE percentage of the purebreds being euthanized. It's a shame. |

Your just saying things because you've never owned a well bred American Pit Bull Terrier. One that does have serious drive. One that IS an athelete. 2k to 5k is a waste of money. Yeah I said it. There a waste of money. Theres nothing special about these dogs and if any person willing to spend that kind of money on a Dog that IS a crossbreed, they should'nt be buying AT ALL. Yeah its true there crossbreeds . You cannot compel and expect me to believe these dogs are purebreds. They are Mastiff mixes . I can go adopt a Mastiff/pit mix.. And last time I checked, A well bred American Pit bull Terrier is less likely to be human aggressive and indeed stranger friendly so dont throw that BS in my face . I want a family pet, You just want a tough dog. When I look for some breed such as a pit bull or a rottie, i look for conformation, structure and tempermant not how big and bulky they can be . If the temperment sucks, why get the Dog because of how big he'll be... If I look for a breeders, these breeders MUST NOT breed for size nor specialize in blue colors . Plus only breed structured APBTs. Plus I will adopt one too .
Well bred American Pit Bull Terriers are NOT Human Aggressive. Pit Bulls are a WORKING BREED not show line. Bred for performanc not looks .

The Razor's Edge dogs are not true American Pit Bull Terriers, they are however of the pit bull bloodlines, they are like Amstaffs, pit bull but of a different type. The new type of Dog that has been created called American Bullies. They are the first of their kind, bred to be short, stalky, shorter noses, and have great temperments. The breeders of these dogs would claim them to be true pit bulls, and a lot more gentle than game pits. They are basically supposed to be a cross of APBT and Amstaffs.
