Description of Puppy

This pup is a female we have name Nanda Devi. She is a giant female, she is getting a lot of human handling and loves to be touched and petted already. She has just opened her eyes and is exploring her birthing box – she doesn’t seem to have any fear!

My beautiful high content (95% and up) wolf hybrid Shoshoni gave birth to 5 pups on 2/4/2013 – 4 girls and 1 boy. Shoshoni is nearly all Timber wolf (black with some tan coloring with beautiful golden eyes) and her mate is our male Timber, who is a medium Timber wolf (75%) and Malamute mix. Shoshoni weighs 85 pounds and Timber 120 pounds summer weight (much more in the winter).

The pups right now are dark in color like their mamma – she definitely has very strong genes! Their markings are just starting to come out along with their personalities. Their backs are still very black but their legs are starting to grey and their faces are starting to get tan and grey markings. They are already amazingly beautiful and are sure to be stunning adults!
