Description of Puppy

AKC Newfoundland Male New England (Northeast) Cinco de Mayo puppies! Born 5/5/2012 and READY TO GO! Our puppies are raised in our home (not a barn or kennel) and handled and socialized daily with adults and children.
Our dogs are the AKC standard in size. I have seen many breeders lately claiming to have Newfoundlands that weigh up to 180 pounds or far above the AKC standards. Remember a fat dog is not necessarily a healthy dog and the extra weight puts undue stress on the dog's hips and joints increasing the likelihood of getting hip dysplaysia or other chronic conditions. According to the AKC: "Approximate weight of adult dogs ranges from 130 to 150 pounds, adult bitches from 100 to 120 pounds." Our male is 150 lbs. and the female is 100 lbs.
I send pictures and videos of the puppies to the new owners every week so you can see them grow. The puppies parents are huge and are indoor/outdoor dogs with great temperaments...gentle giants. The puppies are kept on a worming schedule and will come with AKC papers, first AND second puppy vaccinations and breed and training information. Credit cards accepted through PayPal.
