Description of Puppy
AKC Juju is a great girl that has been with us since birth. She's about 22 pounds, is house trained and crate trained, and does well with kids (probably age 7-8 and up would be best fit). She gets along with most of our other dogs but does try to be the alpha female. Juju loves to be right where we are and loves attention.
She's somewhat of a collector and prides herself on the different things she will bring to her bed. Toys, socks, chew bones, etc. She's very active and loves to run with the kids and other dogs. Her patellas have been OFA certified and several years ago she had the surgery to open her stenotic nares.
As a breeder of exceptional champion bloodline Boston Terriers, we have raised her, like our other dogs and puppies, to have a lifespan potential of 18-22 years. She was raised from a baby on a holistic food then on a simple home prepared diet, since August 2011, and on NuVet vitamins and is exceptionally healthy. She is not a kennel dog but a spoiled family member.
Juju is traditionally marked with a dark brindle coat that has lightened up with time, a full white collar, white blaze, and white on front/rear legs. She has a couple of champions in her bloodline on the sire's side.
She is current on her vaccinations and has been vaccinated for life. We are wanting to place her in a home where she will be spoiled and be one of 2-3 pets or maybe the only one. She would be a great pet for a single lady. She is very loyal, and would probably be protective of her new family members.
We would also like for her to go to a family that will consider continuing what we have done to give her that extended life-span potential (not over vaccinating, high quality food, and supplement).
She may be returned to us at any time for any reason, however, we would like for the new family to commit to a transition period as it takes adults several weeks to completely adjust to a new home.
Juju would need to be adopted to a family within driving distance and we would be glad to drive a reasonable distance to meet her new family.
