Why do you or your family want a dog?

We are looking for a new baby to become part of the family. We have an outside dog that partly comes in but he's just to big to stay inside so we have been in search for an inside baby to love and care for and play with. Also our dog now is a very sweet with our daughter but he is a bit big for her to play with so a smaller baby would do just perfect and we've always loved the beautiful mini schnauzers Would love her to be silver or salt n pepper or possibly black.
