Yes - Glenn - esp. cats. Saliva and dander. Our friends have a silky and I played with it and did not react at all.

Why do you or your family want a dog?

Our family wishes to get a dog. Once we discovered I did not react to Silkies, I decided it is time. My 13 year old really wants a dog, as I do. We play with our neighbors labradoodles all the time. Our back yard is fenced. I grew up with dogs and trained each of them. The were obedient, friendly, and respectful. We have other pets such as rabbits, but not as much fun as dogs. We are going away in August, so I am hoping to get a dog after August 20 when we are back home from our travels. We will then be dedicate our time to the puppy. We have a spacious house, a spacious yard.
