Why do you or your family want a dog?

I lost my best friend, a female black lab, in July. Although our other dogs (some of which just live with us and are my kids dogs), none of them cuddle with me like my lab did. I have a large hole in my heart and would like to find a small dog that will cuddle and travel with me. I am 65 years old and mobile disabled and want a puppy that I will be able to carry around.
