Why do you or your family want a dog?

we have just recently lost our puggle of 6 yrs we rescued her from a terrible home. we were not sure of her age when we rescued her but come to find out she was already 4 years old. she got very sick at the end of her life and it was tough to watch her go through it all. we have decided that now is the time for us to get another dog. we believe it will help with the last part of the grieving process. since we have rescued dogs before we are open to doing the same this time. although we have decided that we would like to raise a puppy this time as opposed to having an older dog
