Why do you or your family want a dog?

We want a Weimaraner to join our family. We want a dog, first off. We are also rec. bird hunters and would like to have a dog to go run around with us and flush out what they can. Also, our 7 year old would love it. Now our two older kids are busy with their friends, she is usually without someone to play with, hence the dog. We like to go for walks and would love to have a dog join us. During the summer months, the kids are home from school, and being my husband is a Landscaper, he is home during the winter. Basically the dog will very rarely be home alone. We want our puppy soon!
