Why do you or your family want a dog?

I am disabled my roommate is a nurse, we both love dogs and neither of us has nor wants children which leaves us with plenty of time to care for enjoy dogs. For me as a disabled person I enjoy grooming our current dogs, baking treats for them and spending my time with them, playing, training cuddling etc. We view our pets as family and since we are able to provide both financially and emotionally for one more we would like add one more to our family.
