| Description: Cashew is a young Corgi / Terrier mix who is being displaced from his home because his owners home is going through foreclosure. He was born sometime in 2004 and weighs about 35 pounds; his flat coat is pale tan and white. Cashew is neutered, and is current on his rabies vaccination. His owner states that he is a funny, active, and sweet-natured dog who has done well with their children and their cats. He loves running and long walks, plays catch like a fanatic, and loves riding in the car. He would do best with an active family with older children who has a fenced-in yard. He is house-trained and crate-trained, and knows some basic obedience commands. Because the family is anxious to get Cashew adopted as quickly as possible, they are not charging a re-homing fee. Cashew is not in our shelter facility; he is currently in Sacramento. The owner will not ship the dog, so if you want to adopt him you will have to go to Sacramento to pick him up.
