Description of Puppy
The mother of this beautiful cream female is apricot, his father is lilac.
Our puppies are all raised underfoot in the house; all are seriously spoiled, and loved. By the time they leave, they are potty trained and have had all shots except the rabies shot. All vaccinations are given in separate ingredients, no mixed shots ever given. Everything we do, such as weighing puppies every 12 hours on a gram scale, is done toward our three goals: health, temperament, and then conformation[looks.]
Shenanigans is a well-known Chinese Shar-Pei Show Kennel in the South East, near the beaches of South Carolina. We have shown and bred Chinese Shar-Pei and only Shar-Pei, for 24 years. If you live within driving distance, we welcome you to our home, to see the parents of your puppy, the grandparents, great grandparents; we have 11 generations of Shenanigans dogs here. This is surely proof of healthy lines; we have numerous dogs between 10 and 15 years old now. We are turning into a retirement center!
Following our recommendations from our studies, we guarantee our puppies free from the genetic disease of Shar-Pei for life, and we as far as I know, we are the only Shar-Pei breeders who do this. You will save money on your purchase, on the vet visits for vaccinations you do not need to do, and the vet visits for life you avoid, when you have a truly healthy puppy.
We are in the process of downsizing in 2 ways, both in the number of dogs we have, due to our age and some illnesses, but also in the size of the dogs. We have a several standard sized studs of excellent quality and pedigree for sale. Also when I have a litter that may or should have small males, I tend to keep 2 or 3 to grown them up and see who is the smallest. Any of these that did not turn out to be one I had to keep, are for sale. So keep us in mind for young adult males!!
Michael is the head trainer now at a large chain of pet specialty stores. He gives advice on behaviour problems and I give advice on health problems to anyone with a Shar-Pei, whether from us or not. It’s easier to get us by email, I can’t hear the phone if I am about the property. Thank you, Susan K Lauer
