Description: We think beautiful Lucy is a Bluetick Coon Hound/Lab mix. She is 2.5 years old, about 23 in. at the shoulder, and weighs about 50 lbs. She is full of love and affection, is house trained, knows sit, down, heel, place, roll over, and off. She is an excellent companion and gets along with other dogs, cats and older kids.
She is a great trail dog, staying close by and checking in often. She loves snow and has been on backpacking trips in winter and summer. True to her houndish breed, she is high energy and can climb/jump fences to follow her nose to...wherever. She needs a very active family so she gets the exercise she needs.
She would love a situation where someone is home most of the time as she gets a bit anxious and bored when left alone. She's a beautiful, wonderful dog and needs a family knowledgeable of and patient with hound behavior.
