I have been breeding to bring back what the shepherd used to be for more the 25 years. I do not breed show dogs, or hyper/aggressive German schutzhund lines. Unlike most old- style shepherd breeders I OFA certify not only hips but elbows as well. If you want a German shepherd that is a true family pet and protector with out needing extra training, or that need to be put away when friends and relatives visit.. Then a Royalair Shepherd may be what you are looking for. These bigger shepherds live longer and have better hips then the little guys! Its the lines- not the size- my dogs average 13 years of age and I am the only breeder in the US with two OFA excellent stud dogs over 120 lbs. Visitors are always welcome.
