These fluffy babies like to be held and played with. They love kids, and follow them around wherever they go. Socialized to cats, chickens and ducks.

Golden Retrievers are one of the best breeds for good temperament and trainability. They are highly intelligent and respond very well to commands. They were originally bred to be hunting dogs, but because of their extreme intelligence and cheerful personalities, they have become an all purpose canine friend and therapy dog.

Our puppies have been well socialized and handled, which is a good first step for training. Dewclaws have been removed, which is important for an active dog, so feel free to run him through the hills and river bottoms. Golden’s usually love water.
