| Description: Billie is an adorable black and white Cocker Spaniel who was turned in to a killing shelter because he has juvenile cataracts and the owner could afford the surgery to help correct Billies eyesight. He can see lights and shapes, but doesnt have clear vision. Because his eyesight is impaired, he cant see the physical signals given by other dogs around him and sometimes walks into dangerous situations. When hes around people, though, hes a happy wiggle-worm who loves to go for long walks, and has been described as the most affectionate Cocker Spaniel youll ever meet. Billie will need a home with folks who can keep him safe and who may be willing to get him assessed for cataract surgery. Billie is only about 2 years old and has lots of life to live. Billie is currently in foster care near Sacramento, CA. If you can take in this darling boy, let his rescue know by contacting Gary at sheltermou@hotmail.com or (916) 334-2841. The rescuer will not ship this dog; youll need to go to the Sacramento area to meet Billie face-to-face. An adoption fee may apply. |
