Description of Puppy

Penny and Rocket are redtick coonhounds who were pulled from a high kill WV shelter. Both are very sweet, crate trained, and almost completely housebroken. They are also both great with other dogs and ignore cats. Their foster is hoping to have them fully house trained by the time they are ready for adoption. Penny is a funny girl, very playful and cuddly. Rocket is an ex-hunting dog who thinks he should be a lap dog. He is a great walking companion. Penny and Rocket are from the same home but may be adopted out separately as they are not co-dependent. These guys are just really great hounds. Penny and Rocket will be available for adoption on October 1 after they have been spayed/neutered. They will be fully vaccinated as well and ready to go to their forever homes. We are accepting applications now.

Please remember that all of our dogs come from shelters or are abandoned dogs, so you are truly saving a life by adopting. We are a foster based rescue meaning dogs have been in homes while waiting to be adopted. We do not have a 'facility' and take appointments to meet dogs or set up meetings at adoption events.
