My mini Dachshund, Oscar is 1 yr and becoming aggressive. I watch TV with him on my lap, all is fine then he will curl up his lip and snap at me. My Husband said NO put him in his crate for a few min locked. Yesterday he increased his snap attack mode. A week ago at the neighbors, he snapped their dog (his best friend). She snapped back and all was okay. He snapped neighbors son's friend who did nothing but come in house to visit. Today before my husband went to work we were watching TV, Oscar curled his lip and snapped at him, told "No BITE" he was okay. Husband went to work, Oscar on my lap watching TV, he was fine then snap and BIG attack mode again. I grabbed the back of the neck said "NO BITE" held him that way until he calmed down, got down came back like nothing happened. Kissed him told him to be good. He is fixed. He is in good health and exam is not due until March. We just love this little guy so much! We can't keep him if he snaps, attacks!
