I have a seven-month-old Siberian Husky, 50 pounds, and a two-year-old shih-poo 18 pounds. The Siberian Husky has been with us since he was a pup, I have a fairly large backyard. The two dogs run and play with each other, but the Siberian Husky puts his open mouth around the back of my Shih-poo's neck and sometimes holds her down with his paws. I can't help but think all he would have to do is bite down hard on her neck and we would be heading for the vet or worse. What are the chances of this happening since they were raised together of him hurting her seriously? Is it just a matter of time. I'm wearing myself out constantly helicoptering them.
