I have a two year old cocker bitch, she was having mastitis when she first came into heat, after several doses of anti-biotics, with no effect, the vet advised to have her spayed. Thankfully, i've had no problems since, but i have noticed that she is inclined to put on weight, i do agility classes with her and she is walked twice a day, i've reduced her kibble to a tiny amount and make the rest of her meal up with loads of vegetables and a small piece of herring, her diet would normally be sweet potato, brocolli & carrots and the occasional piece of liver, her stools are normaly quite solid with no constipation, she is a beautiful bright eyed healthy dog but i cannot seem to be able to control her weight, can anyone advise?
