Someone dumped a Black Mouth Cur at my house last Christmas and he climbed in our fence. He chews on everything, climbs in and out of the fence at will, digs holes, rolls in manure and somehow I still love him. I need help on the chewing though. He weighed 47 pounds Christmas and now he weighs 74. He's a little chunky and I think by his proportions at his full height. I buy chew bones, toys, and have cut up a 2 by 4 but he still chews on the house if I forget to renew the bitter apple spray. Any more ideas on the chewing? Is this common with this breed?
