I rescued what I think is an Australian Cattle Dog but he has no tail and its obvious that he never had a tail, no visible docking. He's built a little more like the Stumpy Tail, taller and less jowly than the standard ACD but marked symetrically, he's blue mottled with tan legs, a white streak on forehead, all the markings of an ACD. Were ACD ever bred without tails? He looks nothing like a Shepard so that can't be it. Anyway, the funniest, most loyal, confident dog I've ever been around, just curious about the tail.
