My 3 yr old poodle who was groomed every 2 months, fed excellent dog food, exercised usually daily and has all the attention one can give, he is also in excellent health in almost every way. But he has lost most of his white coat, and the new hair that grew in is strangely dry, different texture and the color has now become dominantly red with white on head, legs sides and tail. Have been looking for reasons for this. Poodle was checked by vet, changed to raw dog food, vitamins, fish oil. He is very active eats everything. By far he the most respectful dog I have ever had personality plus, gentle soul. Anyone have any ideas.
