Most definitely the behavior can and will change! Both wolves and huskies have high prey drive and the normal noises and motion of a baby of that age could easily trigger predatory behavior. I would NEVER trust any of the northern breed dogs or a wolfdog with a young child and especially an infant. To do so is highly likely to lead to tragedy. I have worked with and lived with wolves, Siberian huskies, malamutes and wolfdogs for close to 30 years, so I am not just saying this off the top of my head. These are interesting animals but are NOT remotely suitable for pets for families with infants. Please, please do your homework and take steps to keep your child safe!! Every time a child is killed by a dog, wolfdog or other, it just leads to more anti-ownership laws and restrictions, not to mention the horrible heartache for all involved. A good site to check out is www.wolfdogproject.com There are articles about wolf behavior on there.
