No you could let a South African Boerboel on the couch they only shed a little bit

African boerboels shed regularly but since they have short coats they would not be a problem with letting them be on the couch. but just in case i would buy pet hair rollers or fabric sweepers to clean he couch off.

South African Boerboel's are big dogs and they shed a lot. trust me.

Boerboels are less than average shedders, if a boerboel is observed to shed a lot, I will recommend to enhance the diet !

South African Boerboels dont shed much....but you will find your couch covered in loose hairs...also depending on the color of the couch and the dog ..the hairs will be more visible...
