Thanks for the answer regarding lifespan. Why is it the Kishu is not considered good as a watch or guard dog? I am thinking of rehoming one a year old who was in a "dog pound" for a year, and hoping she can dissuade any rowdy or threatening males who may come around my home. Tks.
