We have had 2 eskie poos. The first had more of a poodle coat. He did not shed. We had to have him groomed every 9-10 weeks. Even when we combed him there was not much hair in the brush. The one we have now looks more like the eskimo dog and he has the winter/summer eskimo type coat. He does shed, but not as much as an eskimo dog. He has never been to a groomer because he looses his coat twice a year. Mostly this is the major time of shedding. Usually around May/June and then again late Sept/October. Most of it comes out with brushing.
