Hi my family and I are thinking of getting a Chipoo this coming summer. Would a playpen with lots of toys, food, water, pee pads, and a bed be alright to leave the little guy at home for 6-7 hours? This is my only concern of school. But coming home I'd be able to play with him and give him lots of attention. I normally do not go into my studies or homework until 10-11pm anyways. The little guy would probably be asleep. He will be in my care and responsibility so I want the best for him.

chipoos are very little lively pets they need to be entertained or they will be bored and possibly try and bite through your playpen so you must provide lots of toys.

I used to do that with my chipoo... I would be in school and my parents would be at work. He would pace pretty much most of the time we were gone waiting for us to get back, poop and then pace in the poop. I'd have to clean it every day, it took him forever to learn to poop in a corner so he wouldn't walk in it. But he finally was totally potty trained so we could leave him inside the house, with paper some where in case he just couldn't hold it...
