I just got a 6 week old pomchi, I am unfamilar with this breed. Any ideas for training him or just raising him in general. What is crate training?

Every dog is different. My first reaction would be that your pomchi is nervous about his environment, but maybe he has a nervous nature if he has been doing that since birth. My pomchi doesn't shake at all. You should start early and be firm and consistent when training this little guy. They can be strong willed and want to be the boss. Crate training is basically potty training your dog. The crate should be a comfortable place for the dog to rest. During the day (if possible) you should take the pup out every 2-3 hours. Having a small space for their "bed" will make them not want to soil their space so they shouldn't use the bathroom in the crate. Take him outside as soon as you take them out of the crate (you will probably have to carry him out since he isn't good at holding his bladder yet), after meals, and after naps.

WHEN I GOT MY POMCHI I GOT PEEPEE PADS AND EVERY TIME SHE WOULD HAVE ACCIDENT I WOULD PUT HER ON PEE PEE PAD AND I WOULD WATCH FOR SIGNS OF HER HAVING TO GO AND PUT HER ON THE PAD AND TELL HER YOU GO ON PEEPEE PAD. SHE WOULD TRY TO WALK OFF AND I WOULD PUT HER RIGHT BACK ON IT AND REPEAT IT EVERYTIME, AND THEN MOVED IT CLOSER AND CLOSER TO DOOR THEN SHE WATCHED OTHER DOGS GO OUT SIDE. THEY ARE SO INDEPENDENT THAT I MADE HER A STEP TO GET IN AND OUT ON HER OWN WITH IN ONE MONTH SHE WENT OUT ON HER OWN SHE WOULD WHINE AND I WOULD LET HER OUT. NO ACCIDENTS. SHE'S GREAT
