I have a 16 month old pomapoo that is very picky about eating. Won't eat dog food, and likes "my" food - chicken, turkey, cottage cheese. What should I be feeding her?

I'd stop giving your pomapoo human food and switch to a dog food that's got no corn or grains in it. Pomeranians and Poodles both tend to have dental problems, so she should really be eating hard dog-food to keep that in check. Also, too much chicken can give dogs allergies so maybe look for a food without it (Core Wellness Ocean is really good). Mainly, just stop giving her your food or she'll never eat dog food and will be missing out on the vitamins and protein she needs. I suggest putting a little bit of apple cider vinegar in the food to get her to eat it and maybe mixing it with the human food she's used to just to get her started. Good luck!

Unfortunately, you may have created a tough issue to correct! Your first and highest priority NEEDS to be that you absolutely, under no condition...give your Puppy/Dog "Human" food! Being a Poma-Poo Puppy Breeder myself on numerous occasions have heard that their puppy is a "picky eater"! ALL our Puppies, Breeding Dogs and even our Pets...Life's Abundance Premium Puppy & Dog Food. On their website, you can compare the ingredients to all other major brand names, the estimated cost based on your Puppies / Dogs weight and a great benefit...by choosing to have your food delivered to your front door on a pre-set schedule...you ultimately save quite a lot of money in the long run. I highly suggest you take a look at their website http://lifesabundance.com/spp Hope this helps you!
