pomapoo's could swim ,yes but if they choose not to they probably won't want to ever so if your pomapoo wants to swim you probably are a little bit lucky that he/she wants to swim, because any dog thats smaller may not want to swim, but overall yes they can swim!

My Pomapoo will play in the water a little, but doesn't seem to be comfortable "swimming". If i let him go where he can't stand, he will just swim back to dry ground. He does however love playing in the ocean wake.

I have a black lab and a pomapoo and they both love swiming. I throw frizbe's and balls out in the pond and they have a blast retreiving them.
