i HAVE RECENTLY BOUGHT A PEKE-POM FOR MY DAUGHTER, IT WAS FLUFFY AND TINY AND LOOKED JUST LIKE A POMM NOT A X BREED. IT IS NOW 4 MONTHS AND HAS LOST ITS FLUFFY HAIR AND IS FULL ON STRAIGHT LOOKS SHORT HAIRED, UNLIKE PEKES OR POMMS. IS THERE STILL A CHANCE OF ITS HAIR CHANGING AGAIN AND GOING FLUFFY? ITS FACE IS LIKE A POMM AND ITS STILL FLUFFY, EXCEPT THE BODY.

I don't know if you saw the parents but if the Pekingese was not full coated the Peekapom may not be either. Normally Peekapoms look more peke than Pom like although you can see both in them. To be a true Peekapom the mother must be a full Pekingese and the father a full Pomeranian.

My pekepom went through the same awkward hair stage and she now is very fluffy with thick long hair. So if she looks more like a pom which mind did as well, the hair will grow!
