Peek-A-Pom Question

I have two peek-a-poms, and it depends on what you are training them for. Potty training takes a little more, because the Pomeranian they have in them are head strong, but very loyal. My peek-a-poms have been trained to ring a bell when they have to go out, but I only have success with one of them ringing it. They usually go potty outside whn I take them, it just takes time, and repetition...start when they are really young. They are my babies, and I love them very much. Very loyal dogs.

it takes a lot of patience in my opinion, we got my peek a pom when she was a few months old, we tried to train her but she only ended up learning recall(by her name) stay and sit shes 7 now and obedient but as far as teaching one cool tricks good luck to ya:)

I've had my peek-a-pom for just a year, got him when he was 4mos. I have had the most fun ever training him! He is soo smart, he sits & prays, plays dead, roll over, peek-a-boo, shake, he jumps to catch ball and the basics, sit, stay, come, release. My daughter taught him to put his paws up as in surrender. Patience and love, but found when he thinks were playing he responds quickly...yes, healthy treats, but not always. Calm, "Ceasar approach" has made our peek-a-pom the best dog!
