My Schnoodle had her first heat at 6 months old- exactly 2 days before she was scheduled to be spayed! The bleeding wasn't bad, she was so uncomfortable in the diapers that I just put red sheets over the furniture. It lasted about 3 weeks. I wouldn't want either of us to go through that again, so she's spayed now!
