I have a 7 month old Morkie (Bella). We got her when she was 3 months old. When we got her she had really bad kennel cough & had to take her for intravenus injections. So, we put off potty training her. 4 months turned into 7 months & she is still not trained. I have not been consistent in my efforts.... almost feeling like it's too late and I have to break the bad habits that she has got used to. ???? My question is.... how do I go about training Bella after 4 months of being in my home. I know it will be harder because she is already set in her ways. But I need to take control because steam cleaning my carpet is not an option anymore. Please tell me what to do. Thank you! Sherry

Try training your morkie with a bell. You can buy a bell on a string that hangs on your handle from your local pet store, or you could make one yourself. Everytime you take her outside to go potty take her paw and hit the bell so she learns that sound means she gets to go outside. It took our Morkie 2 weeks to become completely potty trained with it.

Hi, I have a Morkie and I didnt potty train him until he was 8 months old (my fault)...but when you start potty training take him out the "same" door everytime! Otherwise he or she gets confused! Don't give up..if I did it after 8 months, you can too!!
