Morkie / Yorktese Question

I used a bell on the door with my Morkie. Pick her paw up and push the bell every time you go out and she got it in less then two weeks.

I put my Morkie in her crate when the doorbell rings and someone is going to come in. I keep her in the crate for a while until she is calm, then let her out. I also tell the guest/company to ignore her completely when I let her out; she then walks around sniffing shoes and checking out the company. She is not allowed to jump on anyone or on the furniture. This works really well. I never let her go to the door with me to answer it as I don't want her peeing on the floor or on the guest.
