Do Yorkie poo puppies lose their puppy coat? My YP is 5 months old and her hair is thinning to the point where you can easily see her skin... is this normal? I am hoping her coat will grow back in??

Many dogs do this if they are allergic to the food that they are eating. Try switching brands or calling your local vet for suggestions.

This is not normal and it could be a food problem. I had my yorkie poo for 13 years from 8 weeks and never had a hair thinning problem. You need to talk to a vet about this.

I have a 1 year old yorkiepoo and she went through the same thing it is shedding to prep for puberty . A new coat it can take a while but it is a prep for puberty which should happen in a couple months. If you don't see sores or white specks on her skin you can count this out - mange and mites.
