I just got my first small dog, a westiepoo after moving into an apartment. I always had larger breeds in the past (labs and goldens). i had NO IDEA these dogs were so intelligent and personable. She can be very vocal when she wants something..moans and groans and not stubborn but determined. Listens well and is very attentive and plays well with other dogs. Big personality!

I had a westie for 18 wonderful years and he was such a lovely dog but very determined, stubborn and a little grumpy. We didn't care - thought it was cute and loved him. After he passed I wanted a similar dog but not to try to "replace" him so I rescued a westiepoo. He has all the personality of a westie with the sweetness and gentle nature of a poodle. Much more motivated to please and less stubborn. We adore him and are so glad we made the decision to rescue,
