I purchased 2 Mal-Shi this past March. They are both males and from the same litter. They just turned 1 on June 14. They have been neutered since March at the age of about 9 months. We are still trying to pottytrain them as well. However, lately we have been seeing them becoming increasingly aggressive with one another, fighting and not letting go of the other dog, owner getting injured trying to breakup the fight. My girls love them so much as do my husband and I. Does anyone have any advice on how to rectify this problem? They are always together. Sleep, eat, walk, etc.

I would strongly recommend watching episodes of the Dog Whisperer or purchasing videos (Cesar Milan) especially dealing with aggression between dogs that live together. I wish that we had had this knowledge when our dogs were younger. After the youngest one reached two years old we had to keep them separated by baby gates. We attempted reconcilliation several times but the last contact was severe so the separation for the rest of their lives! good luck. it is possible to solve the problem.

You should consider sending your Mal-Shis to an obidience class; something that will teach them to get along with one another.
