Mal-Shi - Malshi Question

Malshi puppies are very playful. They like play biting but not hard biting. Just more like nibbling. Its very cute actually because they kind of expect you to do the same back to them. Training them to ring a bell will take some time, such as other training. Its kind of advanced if i may say so. But most of the time if you train them properly to go outside, many times they will sit and wait in front of the door and maybe cry a little bit like they want out. Malteese and shih-tzus are great dogs. They love their owners and have lots of energy. Just make sure you take time to keep their (hair) unmatted and also lets of exercize. The exercise is very important, if you want a quiet house. :)

My malshi likes to play bite a lot. But those baby teeth are quite sharp, and sometimes he becomes obsessed with your fingers or toes. We keep a bottle nearby filled with half water, half white vinager. he does not like the smell. We say "no teeth" and spray (very lightly) around our hand or feet. Now all we have to do is show him the bottle and he backs off right away.
