I used potty pads with my malshi puppy and rewarded him every time he pottied on one even if he peed a little or got some half way on the pad. He learned to go potty on them in 1&1/2 weeks at 9 weeks old. He's now 16 weeks and runs to the potty pad whenever he has to potty. Rarely has accidents in the house!
