Labradoodle Question

what is a F1b rating

An F1 is a first generation cross. in this case a Lab Parent and a poodle parent. An F1b is eithher an F1 bred back to either a poodle or a lab resulting in either a 3/4 poodle or a 3/4Lab. If you want less shedding and allergies your F1b should be 3/4 poodle. If shedding and allergy friendly are not so important then a 3/4 Lab would be OK.

F1b means and F1(first generation - Lab x poodle) bred back to either a Lab or a poodle. Bred back Lab(so 3/4Lab) will have a lot less coat, look more like a Lab and shed alot. Bred back poodle will be 3/4 poodle, shed very little, probably look more like a poodle.
