I have a mini australian shepherd, cairin terrier mix, he is now 9 months old and I do not know how to stop nipping at my ankles, he gets lots of physical exercise, likes children, cats, other dogs, Sam finds other ways to rebel after a firm amd calm No. I do not not know why he nips at me. I am the primary person who walks and exercises his high energy. help me find a way to prevent further nipping.

Puppies go through a phase where it's hard to get them to stop doing something that they have become accustomed to. It will pass. Give it some more time and your dog will stop nipping so much.
