There is just one Yorkshire Terrier. Reputable breeders breed to the standard of the breed which is a "blueprint " set up by the Yorkshire Terrier club of America. Recently they revised their breed standard to make any color than dark steel blue on the body and tan legs and head a disqualification in the breed. Parti color, chocolate black and tan, light silvers would be permanently disqualified in the conformation (show dog)ring. As in all breeds some get too big. This sometimes is referred to as standard size which it is NOT It is just an over sized Yorkshire. There are no Tea Cups. This and similar descriptions are terms for runts of litters. The Yorkshire Terrier Club's code of ethic prohibits any reference to tiny size in advertising and promotion. To do so the breeder can be removed as a member of the organization. Baby doll face is a term used for a Yorkie with too short of a muzzle. It looks cute but is a show fault.
