Do Yorkie's shed at all and are they a good breed for allergy suffers, high strung and bark at everything?

Yorkie's shed about like a person, you are going to find a few hairs in the brush and around, but not many. I don't have allergies, but I've always been told they are good for people with allergies. The best thing to do is be around one for a while and see if it bothers you. If you train them they won't bark at everything, mine are all very laid back, not hyper or high strung.

The longer their hair is the more you start to notice the shedding. I am extremely allergic to almost every animal, so I got my Yorkie thinking I would be okay. She does make me sneeze pretty often but it's not nearly as bad as with other animals (like cats). I wouldn't say that she is high strung--she has a lot of energy but she doesn't take it out inside the apartment. She barks pretty much only when a human or a dog is ignoring her and she wants to play.
