We have three wonderful Westies--a mom age 12, a dad age 6, and their daughter age 5. Someone has offered to give us a chocolate lab puppy (still nursing at this time). All the lab owners say that Labs get along with all humans and beasts, especially when socialized as puppies. My concern is whether or not my pack will accept the lab puppy--especially when she outgrows them in a few months time. Does anyone have experience socializing multiple Westies with a larger breed of dog? Hope to hear that it has worked out fine!

We have several large breed pet dogs and westies. 2 Cane corsos, german shepherd, American bull dog, and daughter has a pit bull that visits. The westies that like to play with dogs love to play with the big dogs and all our westies adore the big dogs. Since the lab is a puppy it would be like introducing any other puppy to a group. They wont mind that it grows huge once they adjust to the "funny" color. My westies dont hardly notice a new westie but very much notice other colored/marked dogs.
