Hi I just have a few questions about westies :) do they regularly shed? Are they diggers( because if I were to buy one I would have to secure my fence)? How much do they cost? Are they good watch dogs? Can they settle into two different places? What are they like inside the house alone....are they well behaved and are they potty trained?? Thank you so much!!!!! (: this is a huge help!

Westie's are non shedding. Will dig if left alone outside. Cost range between 400 up to 3,000 depending on breeding. Good watch dog as far as letting you know when anyone comes around. If left alone you may want to kennel train. You would have to potty train. They are easy to potty train. They are well behaved but like to jump up on everyone.

Westies don't shed because they have hair instead of fur, they can be diggers because they were bred to go underground and hunt rodents, they are good watch dogs my dog always gives a warning bark, they may be a little upset if you leave them home alone to lone i suggest walking them a lot and when you leave keep them somewhere you wouldn't care if they had an accident, they are very well behaved if you spend a lot of time with them which include exersise, they are pretty easy to potty train but they can be a little stubborn
