My Pembroke Corgi ears are infected, clogged, and stink. He hates for me to touch his ears. My Vet said to clean with water only even though I know they are infected. His name is Phoenix and he shakes his head constantly. (I'm changing Vets!!!) What can I clean the ears and what should I use? This has never happened before. HELP!!!!

Sounds like ear mites. Lots of debris in the ears and shaking the head along with an odor, points to it. Definately look into a new vet, if yours doesn't see a problem. You will need to get medicine to kill the mites and antibiotics for any secondary infection. Gently cleaning, with warm soap and water, will help relieve some of his discomfort, but will not treat or kill ear mites. Go to a vet for medication.

You totally need a new vet. Ear mites are soooo easy to spot and your Pembroke Corgi has classic symptoms. You need a new vet they should of guessed that immediately.
